PamFax setup mostly fails with a download error due to security tools on your computer. These block the download of required PamFax components. Avira, Bitdefender, Norton360 and others are known to do this but other applications may well be affected also. You may try to resolve this by (temporarily) deactivating a component of these called "Web protection". After temporarily disabling "Web protection" of your anti-virus tool, restart the PamFax installer, or click "Retry" on the current installer screen. If you do not want to mess with the security settings or are not familiar with the settings, you can download the full installation package of PamFax which does not download via the internet.
