Using PamFax on Linux with Skype

PamFax Linux client software needs a software named Skype4Py (free) to connect PamFax to your Skype Login. When you enable this connection and have Skype running when PamFax starts, you do not have to enter any username/password to send faxes and you can receive fax status messages via Skype chat.

Skype4Py Installation
Ubuntu
Install using Synaptic Package Manager
Select System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager from the menu to start the package manager.
Enter "python-skype" in the Quick Search field
Select the "python-skype" package
Click the "Apply" button
Install on the commandline
Install skype4py using the following command:
sudo apt-get install python-skype
openSUSE
Skype4Py is available from the openSUSE Build Service:
1-Click install for openSUSE 11.2
