Recording buttons in Pamela don't work (stay grey)
Article If you are seeing grey recording buttons in Pamela although Pamela is connected to Skype (visible in the Pamela main window status area at the bottom), then this can be resolved easily.

First uninstall Pamela via the standard Windows program management facility. Note that no data or settings will be removed during uninstallation. Then download a new copy of Pamela (make sure you download the same edition as you had installed!) from our website at www.pamela.biz.

After download re-install Pamela and let Pamela reconnect to the Skype API. After that all buttons should work fine. The reason is that a component is missing which is fixed by uninstalling and re-installing. This process only takes about 10 minutes to complete.
