The Auto message showing you are on the phone does not always clear when the call ends. This is related to the Skype API connection where sometimes the communication does not complete between Skype and Pamela thus leaving the status as if you were on a call.
If you experience this frequently then you should upgrade to Pamela 4.6 which has a fix for this issue. Download the latest Pamela version from the website at www.pamela.biz.
Should you still experience problems you can disable the feature by unchecking the two options highlighted in the screenshot below.
