| Give PamFax access to Skype API after installation |

After installation of PamFax and if you have Skype installed, Skype will ask you if it is OK that PamFax is allowed to access Skype. Sometimes this message is missed and then PamFax can not communicate with Skype. To fix this just restart PamFax and see if you are presented with a yellow notification window. It is from Skype asking if you will allow PamFax to access your Skype. Click on "Yes".
If this does not happen then open the options from within Skype (Skype main window, Tools, Options) and click on "Advanced". At the bottom you will see a link to manage 3rd party application access to Skype. Click on it and a new window will open. Check if you see a PamFax entry there and make sure it is set to "Allow Access". If not, click on the PamFax entry and then click "Change" and change the access to "Always allowed". Then close all windows and restart PamFax.
If you want to connect your Skype account to PamFax then open the PamFax Portal by signing in via the PamFax website at www.pamfax.biz
and click on "Settings". There you will be able to connect your Skype
account to PamFax so that you can receive Skype chat messages about
faxes sent.
